I have always loved using iFixit products, but this is the first time I have been disappointed with an order. My girlfriend's phone needed a screen replacement. Because I used the phone shell as well as the phone battery replacement kit for the same device, it felt like iFixit was the right company to get parts from. The screen came with 2 noticable smallish chips at the edge of the screen, as well as smudges and scratches on the screen cover that suggests it was handled roughly. The adhesive was also incredibly frustrating to use, with the back plastic seperated into several parts. There were no directions, even if I was using the adhesive correctly. After it is all put together (except for the screen chips) the screen looks and works great. This fixed the ghost touch issues that my girlfriend was having with her phone, and it is still excellent after a week. The only reason my review is two stars is because of the quality that the product came in, as well as the frustrating installation experience (regarding the adhesive). During the process of moving the camera module, I broke the flex connector connecting the ambient light sensor. The phone still works, I just thought that having more of a warning and description of the ambient light sensor on the guide could help folks to not do what I did. I am completely at fault for that part.
