This iPod touch (6th or 7th Gen) replacement battery is what you need to bring your dead iPod back to life!
Battery degradation is an inevitable part of your iPod's lifespan — extend it with this new replacement battery compatible with the sixth or seventh generation iPod Touch. If your iPod won’t turn on, won’t hold a charge, or you simply experience poor battery life, this replacement battery may be what you need to fix it.
For optimal performance, calibrate your newly installed battery: Charge it to 100% and keep charging it for at least 2 more hours. Then use your device until it shuts off due to low battery. Finally, charge it uninterrupted to 100%.
There is no guide at this time for replacing the iPod touch Gen 6 or Gen 7 Battery. Replacing the battery is a very difficult repair requiring a temperature controlled soldering iron and a great degree of care. Previous experience with soldering logic board components is recommended.
Installation adhesive is not included.
