iPhone 6s Battery

It did solve my problem although it was obvious the battery was the problem. It is a stressful repair with tiny tiny screws. The tabs on the display panel that the two screws on either side of charging port attach to, can be bent during removal/ reinstall. The screw/screws may not start back. Make sure the threaded tabs are square with the display panel AND….there is no glue or debris in the back cover ( especially on top of the back cover)

When Apple informed me that they, "no longer manufacture the iPhone 6s battery," I was determined to find another source before discarding the otherwise perfectly operating phone. Not only does iFixit offer the necessary battery with a full kit of the needed tools, their step-by-step detailed guide took all of the guesswork out of replacing the battery. I successfully replaced the my iPhone 6s battery on the first attempt. The iFixit battery is identical to the original Apple one except the for the labeling. (I suspect the iFixit battery and the original Apple battery are made in the same facility.) The iFixit replacement battery exceeded 6 hours of constant video and audio after the first full 100% charge. My iPhone 6s runs like it is brand new now, with the iFixit battery lasting for days on standby without charging. While not photographed in the kit contents, there are two replacement bottom screws included with this kit, too. (These are mentioned in the kit contents.) I ended up not needing these screws, but appreciated them being included nonetheless. I also very much appreciated and valued the fellow customer comment in the guide steps. I opted not to replace my faceplate seal and that saved several steps by not requiring the faceplate to be fully detatched. Be sure to read all of these valuable comments before you begin since they offer additional tips to accompany the iFixit guide.
