When I charge or discharge my battery..it works as a normal battery would. But the android system does not detect the battery percentage and always displays it as 50%. So i can't be sure since any moment the battery can go down to 0% and the phone will turn off with the system still showing the battery as 50%.
Is this a good question?
I have this same problem. For me, it started after my phone got wet after being caught out in the rain. The phone works properly, other than the battery always reading 50%. I'm worried that the charging circuitry may attempt to overcharge the battery and cause a fire???
