Obviously a backlight issue if you can see video.

LT screens have different implementations. It may be the power, a loose cable, or the backlight LEDs themselves.

Start with resetting the cables. Then check the power, if you can determine how to access it.

If it is the LEDs, that could be "hard to fix".
