There is a small plate that goes around the front facing camera. (shown next to step six in the manual) There is no reference to this, is it a toss away with the cracked front screen or should it be removed, cleaned up and reused?? And I don't see it in the photos of the screen assy. Thanks in advance for your response(s).

Hello!
I believe you are referring to the metal plate on the right of the front facing camera?
I think you will struggle to find a replacement one of these anywhere so I suggest hanging onto it :)
A tip for the future, do not dispose of any parts unless you are confident you know exactly what it is and will never have any use for it :)
