I cannot enable WiFi on my phone
I can't connect to the WiFi even though the signal is really strong. Other people are able to connect to the same wi-fi.
Is this a good question?

Try simply restarting you phone first. If this doesn't work, then try restarting your router/modem even though others can connect.
If neither of the previous suggestions work, then you might have a conflict with a 3rd party applications.
Try stopping any newly installed applications that might be running on the device. (With two fingers, swipe down from the status bar to open Quick Settings panel, and then tap Settings > Apps > Swipe to Running page > tap on the application you wish to stop > Stop)

By deleting the the recently installed app works. After I did that it automatically connected thanks alot
I have done all the tricks but not open WIFI in my mobile...

Works great, but after I replace cover and restart it goes stops connecting to WiFi again and I have to open and tap camera again!

Hi. Lot customers have wifi problem on HTC devices with different models. I have One E9+ with wifi problem. Problem was sometimes wifi cant turn on. Sometimes is show that wifi is turned on but that cant find a wifi network. In other around devices thay can show few wifi networks but my htc doesnt. I try with soft and hard reset, doesnt help. I speak with man who repaired cellphones, he answer me that he seen lot htc phones with same problem. Now how i can fix problem instantly was clikcking with my finger on cover on behind ( battery cover, little bit down from camera lens) and after that wifi function work, but not to long mybe few hours. This is my 3rd HTC on 2 devices i have same problem one and one e9, with desire hd i have problem with gprs. I told myself its last htc device which i bought. Never more!
I send phone to official repairment, thay told me that was fisical damage and guarantie doesn cover. I cant belive because i save phone extremly.

Me also facing same problem with E9+.

What a pity to by an E9+ and find out that a software update will never come. The WIFi does not work along with the Bluetooth unless I tap behind the battery...what a scam!!!!!...WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HTC & WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Had same problem with htc one m8s since marshmallow update, kept getting 'disabled' message and 'unable to connect' messages when trying to login to home WiFi but no problem on hotspots.
Noticed hotspots security mode were WPA2-PSK and home was WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK. So I logged into my router and changed the security mode at home to WPA2-PSK and hey presto able to log in.
Just had to login again with all gadgets though because security mode had changed.
I had already rebooted phone and router and contacted htc support but none of these worked till I did above.

I have this problem too . I open my phone back and check everything is normal but WiFi and BT dosen`t work and still disable :( no more HTC

Can you connect to another person's Wifi connection? Or can a friend connect to your wifi network? It would be great to know if this is a problem with your home network, or a problem with your device.

Are you able to connect to another person's Wifi? This may be a hardware issue, but it's hard to say without removing some variables.
If you can connect to another person's Wifi, then there might be an issue with your router/device combo. If you can't connect to any Wifi Whatsoever, then chances are you have a hardware issue.
On a slightly related note, what version of Android are you running? Some OS versions of Android have had issues with connecting to Wifi.

I can't see any suggestions for wifi networks in my HTC M9 mobile.. it's turned ON .. and u scan for networks and nothing shown ... please can you help me?
