I dropped my laptop.
I dropped my laptop and the top half is a bit loose. Is there anyway I can fix it, or have it fixed?

faith peter, could be the hinges. Yes it should/could be fixable. Sometimes you can accomplish that by replacing the hinges, other times the top half must be replaced. It depends on exactly what is broken. Post a couple images of where and what is broken so we can see what you see. Use this guide to add images.

What about when there seems to be, on a six-month old 17.3" HP ENVY, there appeared to be a very slight 'ding' that hadn't been there before. The laptop was NEVER dropped or anything. It's on the upper, right corner of the keyboard...right around where the" b" (Beats Audio logo) is located. There doesn't seem to be a problem with the sound...just a little less cooperation with with the right side of the "chicklet" type of keys. Any advice would be appreciated. I believe that this computer is under one year old, and is under warranty, and I have been offered the additional insurance from HP. Thank you!
