Copied from owner manual (Hope this one help you to fix it)

Privacy ModeTo prevent other stations from interrupting a call, press thePRIVACY soft key while on a call. PRIVACY MODE ON willappear in the display for 2 seconds, but thein the display until the feature is turned off. Repeat theprocedure to turn off privacy mode.
