1 Why are my pictures so bright?
My pictures are coming out really bright, even though the flash isn’t on. What do I do?

The shutter being open for too long creates pictures that are very bright and over exposed. Try restarting the camera. If this does not work, try cleaning around the shutter and lens to remove any particles that may be in the shutter's way.

use the "Auto" mode to let the camera make the correct exposure for you. try the 'reset all settings' function to correct any unusual exposure settings you may have used and forgotten in the P mode. if the camera continues to over expose, then the lens unit must be replaced.
