Why is it so difficult to open my laptop?
It feels like the laptop takes too much effort to open.

Make sure nothing is in the way of the hinge when you're trying to open or close the laptop. If theres still stiffness or difficulty opening or closing, try using an electronic lubricant to lessen the stiffness. If the problem persists, you may consider replacing the hinges. Sometimes the hinges may not be broken, but they are just worn from general wear and tear use over time. Try using the Hinge Replacement Guide found on the device page.
