My screen is unresponsive to touch. I've had Apple devices in the past that can be "forced" to reset. Is there a reset procedure for the HP Slate that doesn't involve using the touchscreen?

If your device is unresponsive your tablet may need to be reset. There are simple instructions on the HP Slate 8 Pro troubleshooting page.
