no touch on portion of screen.
just recently replaced LCD assembly and now there is no touch detected through the middle of the screen horizontally. what might cause that to happen?

Did you replace it yourself or did a store replace it? Check the digitizer cable if it's plugged in fully.
It's very common for it to become loose before installing the metal plate that goes over the screen connectors.
I usually just push on the metal plate or make sure it stays in when I install the metal plate.
