nothing is deposited in the canister
all the debris get plugged up in the lower part of the machine and never gets into the canister. In short order it doesn't pick anything up.

Stephen White, If machine under warranty, do not disassemble to much as to void warranty. Sounds like the suction tube may be clogged. Links below may aid you in trouble shooting and repair your Dyson. Good luck.
