Can I use a nail file?
Can I use a nail file to clean the corrosion in the game card slot or do I have to use a Q-Tip with rubbing alcohol on it?
Is this a good question?

Don't use a nail file to clean corrosion, you will damage the components on the board.
Use a Q-tip or toothbrush and 95%+ isopropyl (rubbing alcohol)

I have 70% isopropyl, is that ok? Also, I am cleaning the slot where you put the games in.
It's also 30% water so make sure it's dried out before testing.
ok, how do i dry it out?
You leave it to evaporate. Personally I use 99% isopropyl to bath liquid damaged boards after an ultrasonic clean. This helps quicken the drying process since it evaporates quicker than my ultrasonic cleaning solution. Usually check them a day after this to completely dry

Never use a nail file, you'll damage the components even more.
