I changed the control panel and the lock assembly and still showing me dl.....Now it's making a a ticking sound that pumps water in the tub.... Water wount stop even when I turn off the washer. I had to unplug it from the wall.. I'll take any advise and help.

@schooma , Dennis, The dl error could be the lid switch/door lock or control panel error. Since you have already replaced both, check the wires/plugs for damage,corrosion,loose and test if you can, as new part possibly defective.
Did you get the right replacement parts(control board)??
Water does not stop even when washer turned off, until unplugged. This problem is related to the electrical circuit that controls the valve.
With the limited info. I have, I suggest you do a google search using your(make and model # for service manual) which could really help you out. Good luck.
