Why does the screen flicker?
I've tried everything but it keeps on going off please help!

Minho is right, it could be a number of issues. I would take it into a shop so they can do a diagnostic.

"Flicker" and "screen going off" are not exactly the same thing. Can you please give us more details on the problem and anything that happened previously (water, impacts, repairs). Also, please specify which iPad model.
Then we will be able to help you.
