How do I remove the agitator when an article of clothing is stuck under it?

Once the article of clothing dries out, it should shrink a bit and might be easier to remove. Try waiting a little while.
Can you post a photo? Here's a video of a normal removal, without clothes in the way:
If that doesn't work, you're probably going to have to force it. You may need to cut the clothing off to remove the pressure, or you could break the plastic.
