I don't know but looking at the comparison between the two, to my mind there is some doubt as to whether the 2797 screen would work.

Thanks jayeff. I can get a 2789 LCD & Digitizer from Hong Kong for $80A, but was hoping to get just the digitizer as LCD is OK., but cant find any.
