Reahearing ipad mini 2 screen

I replaced the screen on an ipad mini 2 today and it is not flush at the bottom. I am guessing the ribbon is likely catching somewhere or the adheasive is not suficient.

My question is after removivg the screen how hard is it to keep the back of the digitizer clean and how clean does it need to be. Do I just give it a wipe with microfibre cloth and reseal.

I have cleaned multiple lcd's but have never had to refit the same screen so i have never cleaned a digitizer.

That's pretty much the biggest challenge of re-using an existing digitizer...cleanliness!

I guess it all depends on whether this is your device or not and how much you (or your customer) can tolerate dust and smudges. They're usually hard to see when the screen is brightly illuminated but totally obvious when dark.

If it's a customer device, then cleanliness is next to godliness IMO. Wipe it down with a micro-fibre cloth and if necessary, use one of those square shaped lens pens. They are the closest thing to magic :>).
