Unable to unplug battery

Step 35: I did remove the single 2.3 mm Phillips screw securing the battery connector to the logic board.

I didn’t do steps 44 to 98 for it’s just to replace the battery.

Step 111: I can’t remove the battery from the rear case.

It seems to be the connector cover that prevents disconnecting the battery. I don’t know how to remove this cover. I don’t know if it’s stuck with glue. No explanation in tutorial to remove it.

Thanks

The battery is firmly glued to the housing and has to be gently unglued. If you’ve come all the way to this step and your problem is not anymore the glue, battery connector has a ring fitting the screw housing, a couple of mm. tall Logic board and battery have to be gently lifted up a few mm to allow the battery outside. If you have the replacement battery you can see the ring I refer to.
