jailbreakme.com left my iPhone 4 stuck at apple logo

i tried jailbreaking an iphone 4 (baseband 01.59.00 firmware 4.0.1) through jailbreakme.com but its stuck at the apple logo.. i can't get my computer to recognize it unless i put it in DFU mode.

I need to save photos, movies, contacts from the phone before i try to restore... and unfortunately, i don't have shsh blobs saved.

what are my options? Anyway i can fix the boot issue without having to restore the phone?

Can you boot it into recovery mode? Turn it off, hold down "Home" and plug it into your computer while still holding home. It should boot to a "Connect to iTunes" screen. Now, run TinyUmbrella, and select "Exit Recovery" That should boot your iPhone. If it still doesn't boot, then you will have to restore.

I'm having the same problem. I'm stuck in recovery mode and I'm gettting an unknown error (1).

I was jailbroken but then today my phone got stuck on the apple. So I tried to do a clean restore and it just won't let me.

I need help. Alot of it.
