Hello!So I changed the display for one of my friends Iphone 6 and it worked…After giving them the phone,they went home and she said that she was using Instagram,and suddenly the display turned gray.What could cause the problem? Pls help :(

A grayish screen means you have a working backlight but not the image. If you have an adapter for connecting the iPhone to a screen/tv you can verify if the iPhone is still producing the image. You might have received a bad quality screen too or something went bad during repair. You’ll have to try installing the old screen if image still worked or a new one to start having some additional info.

Yep,I put back the old screen and it works,but its broken :/ And as I said the repair went smoothly and it worked,but after 2-3 hours passed,and the screen suddenly turned whitish greyish color...Is there anyway I can reuse/make use of /repair??? Since I don't have a guaranty on it because I'm not a gsm shop...sad.It was fine,but it broke.. :(

if its connected down firmly and still no picture then its a duff lcd.
