Volume switch does not work

Before fixing the monitor screen with double-sided tape, the volume switch works, but if it is fixed with double-sided tape it will stop functioning. Could I ask the reason.

You’ll need to verify that the Volume Button flex is properly connected and secured and that the flex is not damaged in any way. Check out this guide, specifically Steps 36-40. The application of the double sided adhesive may be exacerbating a flex issue.

Although there are neither breakage of parts nor looseness of screws.

You would be surprised that these parts fail from just dropping the iPad it happens. You'll need to get that volume flex assembly replaced.

Thank you for helpful information. By the way, why does it happen just by exchanging panels? Specifically, which part?

Possibly the volume flex got damaged when cleaning the iPad housing of the old adhesive. It is the part that Minho linked as shown in the guide above.

I've done it once, when not being careful near the volume area when cleaning. It intermittently worked one of the buttons because they got damaged.
