Why my device isn't recognized by pc?

Hello

I got a kindle fire hd like 8 years ago and i have rooted it, it got bricked (kindle requires fast boot cable to be fixed) i tried making one using my crappy soldering skills it was recognized for a bit so i manipulated the wires witg my finger it worked as i kept my finger on the wires but later it didn't i don't know what is the problem now and by all means im not an expert can u help me

I suggest you practice your soldering skills until you can make a good job of it. There are plenty of online videos and tutorials to help you and there are kits out there on which to practice. Also get yourself a cheap multimeter so you can test for contunuity and short circuits. You don’t need a fancy one, but if it has a beeper to indicate continuity that helps. Dear Philip, Thank you for your answer, i managed to make myself a fastboot cable and it is working fine, but, whenever i plug the kindle i get the error "USB Device Malfunctioned and Not Recognized" i installed the adb drivers but i cant seem to find them, i tried a different driver, the fixing utility didn't recognize the tablet, where do i go from here
