Failed Harddrive, what now?
Turn computer off, turned back on harddrive is dead. No 24 digit number. Lots of stuff in there… like QuickBooks and other things. Is this a throw away situation?
Is this a good question?

Hi Preston,
if you only want to get your data back from the HDD, you must connect your HDD to another working computer '(via USB reduction, or just put into the SATA connection in the case). If the HDD is still dead, there are some options:
If you can see your HDD into the device manager (HDD partition, etc.) but your HDD is not accessible:
If your HDD is not working anymore:
If your HDD is not physically damaged, it’s accessible and you’re getting an issue with the bootloader or with windows boot.bcd:
If your HDD is still dead, please specify kind of damage, if your HDD is working - check visually, and if the HDD is not giving you some type of error code.
Hope, we will recover your data :)
