What classification of screws are used?

I lost one of the screws for the joy con wrist strap connector, and I can’t find any identical ones anywhere. Does anyone know what they are? I think they’re a metric classification, maybe M1.6x1 ?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi Nate

No idea what the exact size screw is but these kits are available that include all the screws for the device.

I have measured the Joy-Con Strap rail screws as JIS00 M1.4x6mm Thread Forming. PH00 should work if your drive kit does not have the J set. Hope this helps.
The closest screw I found on McMaster-Carr is 96817A800 with the key difference being the head is 0.45mm thick and 3.25mm in diameter.

Being a thread-forming screw, be sure to slowly drive the screw in reverse until you hear/feel a subtle 'click' as the screw settles into its previous threads, then you can drive it in to avoid creating new threads.
