My screen went black initially
I have this issue also. My screen went black initially. I turned my tv off and back on and now I have vertical lines to the right and a huge black spot to the left.
Is this a good question?

@spencer77 that looks like a failed panel. Could be the LCD driver board which is considered part of the panel or failed LCD inside the panel.

@oldturkey03 it’s a Visio M55-C2. I am working on figuring out how to add a picture. But to describe what I’m seeing: the screen is bright with vertical lines throughout the whole screen. To the left of the screen there is a big black blob. It almost looks like a big ink mark on a white shirt. I can hear the tv great but I don’t see any clear picture
