Ps4 Logo pops up then black screen
I turn on the ps4 , the logo pops up then there’s a black screen followed by the console turning off with blue blinking lights

Try booting into safe mode using these steps:
- If the console is still on press and hold power button until you hear the beep. The console will switch off. Skip this step if it is already off.
- Press and hold the power button until you hear the second beep then release.
- Once you see the PS4 display the safe mode screen with the multiple options displayed on the screen go through each of them and repeat the steps above until you have exhausted all steps.
- When reinitialising console note that this wipes all data on the hard drive.
- If it still does not work. We suspect the hard drive has gone bad and needs to be replaced.

My PS4 will turn on show the PS4 logo then goes to black screen. How do I changed that. I tried rebuilding data base I tried initializing the game and still nothing and changed HDMI cord still same problem

Any of you get it figured out I’m going thru same thing
None this worked I tried it over 30 Times Sony is bad like these are the only consoles I have problems with

Have you fixed it yet the same thing happened to me
I got my fix. I just did reinstall system software
My problem is I can't hearno beeps. How you get into safe mode now.

Try to remove HDD and start the PS4 without, le PS4 launch automatically the Safe Mode.
My PS4 slim turns on shows the logo blank screen so after like 5 mins when I push the power button once it startsbbeeping rapidly so I booted up safe mode and I literally tried everything, restarted,rebuild database, change resolution, even initialized it and still blank screen so I lost hope, just wondering if any of y'all could help, if there is anything i need to replace please feel free to put in links for the tools and and such

If this happens there’s no fix, your game is burned out. This happened to mine because I kept it on. Save your data and just look on the bright side you may not have the cash for a new one immediately and why would you buy another ps4 anyway unless that’s your preference. You’ll have no other choice but to buy a new and/or better game :)

Same excact issue… and my ps4 has had multiple issues from before: damaged files, always gotta re-initalize and rebuild. The thing is, I always could fix this with the “quick fixes”
Now I think that this ps4 pro is actually &&^&@@, cus now it wont get past the logo even after trying all of the “quick fixes” as initalizing, rebuilding and updating while in safe mode.
I’m not so keen on changing the HDD, but there seems to be no other way… i’m a poor student so I gotta save up.
Oh well. This is such a joke. My ps1, 2 and 3 were problem free, i repeat, PROBLEM FREE. my ps4 pro is hardly 3 years old.
