Tips for diagnose my smart tv

Hi guys

I have this smart tv samsung with ghosting image and a horizontal bar at buttom.

Can you help me figuring what this is?

The Model is samsung UE46D6500VSXXC.

@amfazeres that looks very suspicious for a failed panel (failed Gate drivers on the LCD driver board which is considered part of the panel). There is always a small possibility that this is a main board issue but it is not very likely.

@oldturkey03 thanks for the answer. At first I thought that the issue was the t-con and I was about to replace it but then I saw other videos and didn’t do it (and I’m glad for not do). So what is your suggestion: fix it (if it’s possible) or put it on the garbage?

@amfazeres Get a main board from somewhere that has a good and easy return policy. Replace that board and see if it makes a difference. Trust me I keep my fingers crossed.
