How to reboot ipad without power button

my ipad crashed and i turned it off with assistive touch and i tried opening it again it just showed a black display. My power/sleep button is broken, i dont know how to reboot without it.

Options

You should be able to turn it on when you put in the charger. It turns on when the charger is connected.
