The thunderbolt port pins broke off on one of my ports, How hard is it to replace the port on the side of my Dell 5530 2in 1

There are some steps you need to take:
Obtain new port
Open laptop
Dissasemble until the old port is naked and you can work on it
Remove it carefully
Solder the new one into place
If you don’t feel like this is worth the trouble, or is a risk, a technician should be able to repair it for a small fee.
Provided you bring the new one to them, they may even fix it on the spot.
