Swap upper case assembly?

Does anyone know if one could swap the upper case assembly of a 15” Retina MBP (early 2013) with an upper case assembly from a 15” Retina MBP (mid 2014)?

They are listed as different parts! As you can see Apple did reuse the case across two models Mid 2012 & Early 2013 & then for the other Mid 2013 & 2014. I’ve never swapped the uppercases so it would be a gamble!
