So out of no where my iPad has developed a line through the screen where it’s darker than the rest, I haven’t dropped it or anything and take good care of it so I don’t understand why it’s like this.

This would be an LCD issue. Only physical damage could have caused this. Whether it was dropped, or hit, physical damage is the cause. Pro model iPads LCD replacements are very expensive, especially the bigger models. Cost alone on the part can exceed $200.
