Why does Pingu stop dancing?

I just replaced the motor in a dancing pingu and he dances now but when I put the skin back on he stops moving. Does this mean the motor isn’t powerful enough?

The skin/fur could be weighing your pingu down, try flipping him on his back or try to hold him up, and see if he’ll move. If he does, this means that he’s slightly to heavy for the motor to move. If he doesn’t it could mean that the motor is grinding and is about to burn out. I advise in both cases to take it apart again and lubricate some of the gears and spin them, maybe this will loosen the tension, and the more you play with him, he’ll work out of it and start to move again.
