If your Samsung Galaxy A30 is vibrating and showing signs of life but has a blank screen, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. **Force Restart:**
- Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons simultaneously for about 10-15 seconds. This might force the phone to restart and fix the display issue.
2. **Charge the Phone:**
- Connect your phone to a charger and let it charge for at least 30 minutes. Sometimes, a low battery can cause display issues.
3. **Check for Screen Damage:**
- Inspect the screen for any visible cracks or damage. If the screen is damaged, it might need to be replaced.
4. **Boot into Safe Mode:**
- Press and hold the Power button until the Samsung logo appears, then release the Power button and immediately press and hold the Volume Down button. Keep holding the Volume Down button until the phone finishes restarting. If the display works in Safe Mode, a third-party app might be causing the issue.
5. **Wipe Cache Partition:**
- Turn off the phone.
- Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears, then release both buttons.
- Use the Volume buttons to navigate to "Wipe cache partition" and press the Power button to select it.
- After the cache is wiped, use the Volume buttons to navigate to "Reboot system now" and press the Power button.
6. **Factory Reset:**
- If all else fails, you might need to perform a factory reset. Note that this will erase all data on your phone, so it's recommended only as a last resort.
- Turn off the phone.
- Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears, then release both buttons.
- Use the Volume buttons to navigate to "Wipe data/factory reset" and press the Power button to select it.
- After the reset is complete, use the Volume buttons to navigate to "Reboot system now" and press the Power button.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to visit a professional technician or a Samsung service center for further diagnosis and repair.

Did your display have any other problems before this happened? Have you dropped the phone in liquid in the past 6 months? Has this problem happened after a fall or other damage to the phone?

@colemcinnes It sounds like you may have two problems now where you just had one before. To fix the charging issue (assuming you've already tried a different charger and cord), you'll probably need to replace the charging port.

Now that you've broken the screen, you'll need to replace that too.
