I have a message "turn the power off and on again"
the lens keep going & out it say "turn the power off and on again" when I do it the same thing happens, unable to take a shot.
Is this a good question?

tsehaye, it is possible that this is caused by a stuck lens. If the lens extends but gets stuck, it will retract. After a few attempts, it will shut down. Here is a generic way of trying to fix it. Great site with good information. Of course make sure that your batteries are new and fully charged. the service manual to repair your camera is available here. Hope this helps, good luck.

I tried the "here is a" link and the step where he is turning is on and grabbing the smallest part of then lens, and tapping it. I have reported success with this method. I recommend this to everyone
