PS4 Controller model CUH-ZCT1. Released in November 2013 by Sony Computer Entertainment, this six-axis, 3.7 V lithium ion battery controller is uncomplicated to repair. (NOTE: Teardown guide is NOT for this model)

When to replace the battery

I have a dualshock 4 controller. I've had this controller since 2015. It still works and everything, but there is a point where I'll need to replace the battery?

The battery still charges and works, but after 7 years, the battery doesn't seem to hold a charge as long as it used to. I charge the battery fully and then the battery charge goes down.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?
