Why does my LG nanocell TV get broad darker lines of less light?

Block Image

As you can see on the video and picture, the TV is able to produce complete background light when turned on, but a few seconds later, the light is dimmed in two broad vertical bands across the screen an continues to be like this when turned on. Any ideas what's going on? The tv is from August 2020 and the specific model is LG 65" 4K LED TV 65NANO916NA

@findinge, That appears to be broken backlight LED strips, which would require replacing.

First off, disconnect the TV and pre and hold power, to discharge as much as possible. Note! Even after discharge some capacitors can hold a high voltage.

Take off the back cover and get good quality and up close pictures of the cards. Update your question with those, Adding images to existing questions.

We can proceed further once we see those

Hi,

I have the same exact issue with my NanoCell (55NANO916NA). How would I go about fixing it?
