How do I remove the power button from the keyboard?
I'm trying to replace the power button from my keyboard as it can't reach the power switch inside for whatever reason. However, there is a metal plate covering the inside of the keyboard (picture attached) which I can't figure out how to remove. There are black screw-esque things holding it in place but they can't be unscrewed. I need to know how to remove this plate so that I can get to the power button and replace it. Please tell me what I need to do.
^ The plate covering the switch
^ The power button encased between the plate and keyboard
^ The irremovable "screws"
^ The power switch among the main circuit boards
Is this a good question?

Are you certain it is just not a bad contact? In the "The power switch among the main circuit boards" photo isn't that circular part an electrical contact? And on the switch in photo "The power button encased between the plate and keyboard". It looks like it could do with a clean with 99% Ispropyl alcohol. What do you think or have you alraedy tried that?

@aactech I've not tried isopropyl alcohol yet, thank you for telling me. As for the power switch photo, the switch does work when I press it, but the external power button has a hard time connecting with it. For reference, I dropped the laptop a few days ago, which is how the button was damaged. It's either displaced or cracked. I'll try cleaning it with alcohol but I don't think it will work.
