some of the keys eventually stop working

When the laptop's been unused for some time some of the keys stop working and i have to click on them (or any of these unworking keys) like 100 times and eventually they all at once continue to work again. Any solutions?

Sandro Ænima make sure that all of your drivers and your BIOS are up to date. Then make sure that you turn any power saver options on your OS off. If all of that is okay then you may need to consider replacing the keyboard. It could be the keyboard controller so try a USB keyboard and see if that stays fully functional. Use these guides to work on your computer Lenovo IdeaPad 330S-15IKB or download the maintenance manual for it from here You'd be looking at the upper case.

Although this is an old post, the laptop is still used by a lot of people and hence replying.

The issue mentioned here sounds like a faulty keyboard. You'll get cheap keyboards but the real game is replacing it. Is a much tricky too.

If it's anything other the keyboard, the laptop repairability is more or less fine. If its a faulty keyboard, you're screwed particularly if you're trying to fix it by yourself. Not only should you remove literally every single component inside to get to it, the keyboard itself is fixed to the panel by fusing the body plastic. Ideally, you'll want a soldering iron and a desoldering pump to unfuse and remove the plastic (with proper nose mask & room ventilation). Referring YouTube videos is recommendable.

@handylayman “ the laptop is still used by a lot of people” correct. As you can see, all of that was addressed in the original answer from a year ago. It also links to the repair guides and the Hardware Maintenance Manual. So everything was actually covered by that answer.
