Unable to Boot pass logo or Restore OS
I did a reset a few months ago on this laptop and it was working at the time but the owner (my mother) didn't use it afterward because they have another computer they are using. The battery drained and it sat dead for some time. Now I've tried booting and it is stuck in a boot loop.
I can use some of the startup keys but these are the results
Command+R - does nothing
Shift+Option+Cmd+R - Starts the internet recovery, allows you to join the network, and then proceeds to download the recovery then shows "support.apple.com/mac/startup -1008F"
Option - shows the MacOS drive and allows you to choose a network. I've tried using a macOS on a USB made from another mac PC to attempt a restore. Enters BootLoop if either drive is selected.
Option-Command-P-R - Not sure if it resets the ram nothing is shown and still boot loops
D/ option - d - Same as the recovery
Can this be saved or is it a dead cause?
Is this a good question?
