My mac will not recognize the drives?!

Does anyone have any wisdom on this device being used on a MAC? I've tried everything and my brand new mac won't even recognize it. :(

You need some level of driver installed into your Mac for the hardware. Did it not come with a disk or offer a URL address to download it? If not you’ll need to talk with SABRENT support.

Then you will need a means to configure the drives: Here’s the deep dive into using Apples tools macOS Disk Utility Can Create Four Popular RAID Arrays

Do keep in mind you need a matched set of drives to do RAID properly.

From what I understand as far as Mac’s are concerned they are very very finicky when it comes to USB adapters. My best guess is that whatever drives you’re plugging directly into the docking station are not getting enough power from the Mac or from the station maybe try plugging it in directly into the Mac and see what happens. I would also unfortunately recommend getting a Mac usb adapted as well.
