Why would my clutch pedal be solid +not press down to engage gears,can anyone help on this one please,it's a craftsman 2000 (I don't have the cutting belt or box on back)thankyou so much joe newbybridge south lakes cumbria?

@joecrabtre89082 just to clarify. Your mower is a LT2000? Have you checked the clutch linkage and checked where it goes through the frame to make sure it is not binding on anything?

Thankyou so much for your help the craftsman 19.5HP electric start lawntractor model 917.270920 I cannot depress the clutch it is solid has anyone any idea what it may be please craftsman lawn tractor?

Options

Either the linkage is out of adjustment or you have a belt pinched and its restricting the pedal
