Screen displays only Apple startup logo

The screen is black and only the Apple logo comes on on reset. Can I fix it myself if not Apple wants 299.00

Hi Tom,

When did this start happening? Did anything occur to the watch; getting dropped, wet, updated, stored in a box, etc.?
