Unlock bootloader of Android 11

Got 2 phones I'd like to unlock the bootloader and, eventually, flash /e/OS ...if possible. Problem; I've attempted using at least 3 different software programs and have had problems with/failures of all 3. (Magisk, KingRoot and KingoRoot) Someone "suggested" the manufacture locked the bootloader and, thus it cannot be unlocked. I don't agree with that(?) Yet, when Kingroot and Kingoroot were tried, neither would recognize these phones. Magisk had way to much add-ons to D/l for me. Just seemed too much for no more than what I was doing. So, I need some advice/help in unlocking the bootloaders...and can it be accomplished? #2. Can either/both be flashed to /e/OS? [Vortex v22-Android 11] [Sky EliteP55Max-Android 11GOedition] As you can see, my ultimate goal is de-goggling my phones....and life ...hopefully LOL P.S. Why so many dire warnings about unlocking a bootloader?

THANX

Rick

try going to settings\ about phone\ software information then repeatedly tap on build number until developer options are unlocked. then go to developer options just below about phone and look for an option called OEM unlocking. that should unlock your bootloader if your carrier hasn't disabled this. the Verizon phone i use has this disabled.

Thank you for replying. Yes, I understand your reply and have implemented those procedures awhile ago. Even with those "options" implemented, neither KingRoot nor KingORoot would 'recognize" the phone(s). What I'm unable to discover is whether the manufacture has locked the bootloader and/or even if that matters?

RE: ElectronicsBoy

Yes, I read/went through this prior to my posting. Because the "how-to" didn't provide unlocking the bootloader, I came here in search of an answer.
