P.S. Before you ask :), Yes I googled, I ebay'd. No joy. Looks a lot like a Mikita though.

It's a Japanese hammer that's the only for sure thing..

Could be a kango hammer. What’s the problem with it?

@strongbow Should be a simple fix, Dad thinks it's the switch.

@jwwicks Check the cable for breaks and also check the brushes.

Hard to see properly but the cable very top right doesn’t look to good.
