@nandu40616 this could be a driver issue. You did not tell us what you have tried and what OS you are using. Try this first:

  • Press Windows key + X
    Go to Device Manager
Expand the Human Interface Device or Mice and other pointing device
Look for HID Touchpad driver that was installed
    Right click and Uninstall.

Next go to this site and look for the Touchpad Driver. Install the driver, restart your computer and enable touchpad in the settings.

If that does not work, you must consider replacing the touchpad. You can use something like this video as your guide. Of course, you can also download the manual from here Page 45 will tell you how to replace the touchpad.

Make sure u try touch pad lock button and Trouble shoot drivers and try to plug in a USB mouse and see if it will pop up. While it's plugged in try to move your touchpad if it doesn't work you can try this

pull ur key pad up and check the cable ribbons. Check the touch pad ribbon and the keyboard ribbon and make sure they are PERFECTLY aligned if it's a little off it will mess up. Make sure u push it all the way in sometimes there's a white line on the ribbon that need to be aligned making sure u push it in where it's needed
