Donate screen lid to reburisher?

I successfully replaced my first Mac Laptop's cracked screen. The screen was totally dead. The refurbished part I got included the metal top and some electronics, plus the hinges.

I was wondering if there is a refurbisher I can send the old good parts so they can refurbish it by replacing the screen. I'm sure the hinge and top are perfectly fine, and maybe the electronics (but not the screen!)

I rather do that then send it to e-waste recycling.
