MacBook Pro won’t turn on after battery died completely.

My MacBook’s battery died completely after I left it at home for 7 days while on vacation. When I returned, the MacBook wouldn’t turn on. No sounds, no lights, trackpad wouldn’t click, nothing. I replaced the battery with one from iFixit and it worked, but per ifixit’s instructions, I charged my Mac to 100% and then proceeded let it die completely over the next couple of days. When I came home from work today, the Mac was completely dead, which is what I thought needed to happen, but now it will not turn on or charge just like before I went on vacation. Is there some way to charge this battery a little outside of the computer? I’m thinking if it had just a little bit of charge, the Mac would recognize the battery and charge it normally.

Hello, try connecting a more powerful charger (85W for Macbook pro 15") to restart the battery.
